Making my game easier.. ish
List of new stuff!!!! Hell yea
- Shields - basically, 3 lives as of right now. I will probably make it harder to get shields
- a 90% finish boss level!! I had to lower its intensity to make it more bearable for a first-level boss—1 down 11 more to go.
- color adjustments, I've been experimenting with color pallets to make the game look better
- various bug changes with some polish
- orbs... collectibles.. feels good to pick up... Will be used for gaining shields mid-level
- Oh and guess what?!? You can now aim downwards
- I am experimenting with a "retrieve" mechanic
- new controls! not that it matters because I have not added the current version to this page yet but in case I change my mind, and you are reading this from the future, here you go:
Keyboard/Gamepad (ps5 not yet supported):
Move (auto-aim 8-directional): arrow keys, dpad, left stick
Precise aim + stop movement: hold Z key, Right bumper
Throw/ Teleport: X key, West/Left Button (square on PlayStation Controller)
Retrieve (if it's still a thing): C key, Triangle/Top Button/North
